You ll work alongside a supportive staff team to help pupils feel encouraged, included and ready to learn. What the role involves: Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities. Providing individual and small-group support across primary year groups. Helping pupils develop their literacy, numeracy and social skills. Adapting support for different learning needs, including SEND. Encouraging positive behaviour and participation. Maintaining a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom. The successful applicant will have: A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience supporting children in a primary school. An understanding of the primary curriculum. A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach. Confidence supporting pupils with different abilities and needs. Strong communication and behaviour support skills.
