3.5T Van Driver – Luton - Real Living Wage 

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable 3.5T Van Drivers to join our client's busy delivery operation in and around Luton. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a 3.5T Van Driver who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a professional team.

Location: Luton
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting between 5:00 am and 6:00 am – No Weekends

The Role

As a 3.5T Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing approximately 40–50 multi-drop deliveries of office supplies and stationary per day to hospitality and business customers across Tottenham and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.5T van to complete daily multi-drop deliveries of office supplies and stationary equipment. 

• Load your vehicle each morning, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care.

• Deliver orders to hospitality and business customers in a professional and timely manner.

• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.

• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.

• Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, reporting any defects promptly.

• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and within agreed timescales.

Requirements

To be successful as a 3.5T Van Driver, you will need:

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.

• Good knowledge of the area and the surrounding areas.

• To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

• Strong communication and time-management skills.

• A reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach.

• A smart and professional appearance.

Please note that all successful 3.5T Van Driver applicants will be required to attend an initial interview on site. If successful, you will then complete a three-day company induction and route training programme before starting work.
