Night Veterinary Nurse

Medivet .Medivet Hendon Hospital is currently seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team at their well-equipped, busy hospital in London. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to develop nursing skills in medical and surgical nursing, working alongside veterinary surgeons and another experienced RVN.The shift pattern is 7 nights on, 14 nights off. Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activity.Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule activities.Deliver patient monitoring and care.Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.Dispense and check medication.Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team to support the most effective running of the practice.Qualifications and Skills

RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.Experience working effectively as part of a team.Experience supporting nurse consults with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.Experience using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of colleagues.Benefits
