This opportunity is to join our small team within this busy independent dealership based on Marsh Barton.We are looking to recruit a Technician to support our sales, warranty work and service our customers vehicles. You will work on all makes and models of diesel and LCV vehicles. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.- Conducting repairs and maintenance on various types of commercial vehicles.- Some basic servicing, brakes, cambelts etc.- Assembling and disassembling equipment as needed- Performing routine inspections to identify potential problems- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operationsTo excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools- Ability to lift heavy objects as required- Welding experience is preferred but not required- Excellent problem-solving skills- Attention to detail and accuracy in work- Strong organizational and time management abilitiesIf you are a dedicated technician with a passion for maintaining and repairing equipment, we encourage you to apply for this position.Full UK driving licence is essential.Working hours:Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunchAlternate Saturdays 08:00 - 12:00Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 per annum DOEOverseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role.
