Account Manager The Role To manage the day-to-day client administration, preparation, and coordination of client accounts, acting as reliable and professional operational contact for clients and an effective contributor to the wider practice team. The role ensures work is delivered accurately, on time, and in line with professional and internal standards, while supporting client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Client Delivery and Administration Prepare accounts, personal and corporation tax returns, VAT returns, in accordance with current legislation and practice procedures. Act as a day-to-day point of contact for allocated clients, maintaining professional and timely communication. Liaise with administration team and clients to request, receive, and clarify books, records, and supporting information. Respond to clients confidently and accurately, escalating complex or sensitive matters appropriately. Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, reliability, and a solutions-focused approach. Workflow and Time Management Manage assigned jobs to ensure deadlines are met, updating workflow systems accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor progress against engagement proposal and flag potential overruns or risks early. Provide time sheets in a timely manner for ad hoc work to be billed appropriately.
