Philanthropy Manager 8-month FTC £37,000-£38,000 FTE Ideally full time 35 hours, flexible, would consider 4 days Hybrid with 3 days in London office Start: May/early June Charity People are excited to partner with a charitable organisation to find them a new Philanthropy Manager, this is a maternity cover role. As Philanthropy Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Development team. You will actively manage a pool of individual donors to cultivate, steward and solicit donations for exhibitions, education, and programmes. You will have great administrative and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with high-net-worth people, and a sound understanding of fundraising and the sector. There is no line management responsibility for this role. Responsibilities: Work with the Head of Philanthropy to implement and refine the organisation''s major giving strategy, with a focus on securing mid-to-high level gifts. Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, ensuring personalised cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities. Develop compelling fundraising proposals, working closely with Programmes colleagues to gather project and financial information. Support the Head of Philanthropy in securing major gifts for key fundraising campaigns. Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for project-specific donations from existing members.
