Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a team, this role would suit someone who has a strong mechanical background and aptitude.Duties of the Production Technician will include:Set, adjust and maintain bespoke production machinery used for cutting, forming and assembling metal partsFault finding on production machinery to ensure smooth runningLiaising with management regarding production schedulesWork with production staff to resolve technical and setting issues, including liaising with toolroom and maintenance departments Skills and qualifications:Previous experience in engineering environment a similar role Good knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatic, coupled with a good mechanical knowledgeStrong problem solving abilities and ability to work autonomously within a team environmentWorking to ISO9001 standardsStrong communication skills .This is a very hands on role within a busy production environment, where you will be working to support customer demand.
