We are currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our Minor Works Team within the Capital Programmes Division. This role is crucial in delivering a variety of construction, repair, and refurbishment projects valued between £2k and £4m. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of construction contracts from commencement to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.Develop and review project requirements with internal clients, creating work programmes that achieve cost and quality efficiencies.Provide specialist services including Fire Risk Assessment and Principal Designer roles.Offer expertise in building surveying, mechanical and electrical design services, structural design, cost and contract management, and Construction Design Management (CDM) compliance.Utilise AutoCAD for designing and have a strong understanding of building and planning legislation, CDM Regulations, and current Building Contracts.
