Pay Rate: -92 - -120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Monarch Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Edgbaston seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children within their Nursery class. This is a full-time, long-term position offering the opportunity to make a real difference during a crucial stage of children''s development.

We are looking for a caring and proactive individual who can nurture children''s learning, wellbeing, and independence while working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team.

• Support teaching and learning within the Nursery classroom.
• Assist with the delivery of engaging and creative Early Years activities.
• Encourage the social, emotional, and educational development of pupils.
• Provide support during play-based learning sessions both indoors and outdoors.
• Assist with observations and contribute to children''s learning records when required.
• Support children with personal care needs, including toileting and changing where necessary.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

• A recognised Early Years specific qualification (Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent).
• Experience working within a Nursery, Preschool, or Early Years setting.
• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Confidence supporting children''s personal care needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
