Leading FMCG Business
on the search for a
European Head of Sales . This is a full-time remote position based in the
United Kingdom .Leading a team of commercial colleagues based in both the UK and Germany, this role requires an individual who is fluent in German and English. The successful candidate will have experience combining strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution, ensuring long-term growth and operational excellence. Reporting to the European Managing Director, the position offers flexibility through home-based/remote working, with regular travel across Europe.Key Responsibilities
Define and deliver the commercial strategy for the UK and German markets across branded and own-label chilled and frozen categoriesLead and manage the sales team across both markets, ensuring alignment and delivery of business objectivesDrive growth across grocery retail, discounters, and foodservice channels, building strong senior-level customer relationshipsBalance strategic oversight with operational involvement, remaining hands-on in the commercial detailWork cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and NPD to align sales initiatives with business prioritiesMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-makingWhat We''re Looking For
Proven track record in senior sales leadership within chilled and frozen food categoriesStrong experience across both branded and own-label portfolios in the UK and German marketsEstablished network and demonstrable success in managing major grocery, discounter, and foodservice customersExperience leading and motivating cross-country commercial teams, with a collaborative and empowering leadership styleAbility to combine strategic vision with operational execution, maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentCommercially astute, results-driven, and adaptable with a passion for driving growthFluency in both English and German, with the ability to operate confidently at a senior commercial level across both marketsFor more information, please contact
