Prestwick Care are currently recruiting for Full Time Care Assistants at Beech Tree House. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking for a rewarding career within the care industry to join Prestwick Care at an exciting time for the Organisation.

Responsibilities

Drive, establish and maintain our CORE values throughout your team.

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

Help residents with mobility and physical activities as needed.

Monitor and record residents'' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.

Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during their stay.

Assist nursing staff with basic medical tasks during resident care.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members about resident needs.

Required Skills and Experience

Working towards a Care Certificate or NVQ equivalent; certification as a nursing assistant preferred.

Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety practices.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

English Proficiency to effectively undertake responsibilities.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not required.

Satisfactory DBS check.

Satisfactory Right to Work in the UK or equivalent.
