Primary responsibilities; Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors'' Accounts RulesProcessing all client and office account transactions including using online banking facilities, transferring funds between accounts, making electronic payments and recording receiptsCarrying out daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate ledgersProcessing all accounts receivable (client)Paying interest on client account moniesHandling general enquiries and resolving queries (internal only)Housekeeping of files and ledgers and assisting the Head Cashier and Finance Team Leader in ensuring residual balances are dealt with promptly and within SAR timeframesAdhoc administrationContacting bank with queriesReconciliation of control accounts as required Key experience and attributes; 2+ years experience working in a legal finance environment in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules essentialILFM Diploma (strongly preferred) or support to undertake it givenProficiency in legal accounting software (previous use of SOS Practice Manager advantageous but not essential)Visualfiles CMS knowledge advantageous but not essentialAccuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach to workExcellent communication - ..... full job details .....
