This is a long-term position for someone who has previous experience working as a school caretaker, premises manager or site manager and is confident taking responsibility for the day-to-day running and security of the school premises. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Opening and closing the school each day Ensuring the school site is safe, secure and well maintained Taking responsibility for whole-school health and safety compliance Carrying out regular site checks and reporting any issues Organising and overseeing general maintenance Completing basic DIY and handy work around the school Liaising with contractors and external services when required Ensuring the school buildings, grounds and facilities are kept to a high standard Responding to day-to-day premises issues and emergencies Being the main point of responsibility for the school site About You The school is looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a school caretaker, premises manager or site manager Understands school-based health and safety requirements Is confident carrying out general maintenance and DIY tasks Is reliable, proactive and highly organised Can work independently and use their own ..... full job details .....
