Your new roleOur well-known client has a fantastic new opportunity to join their in-house legal team, based in Bristol. In this role, you will be a critical member of the Legal and Company Secretary team with responsibility for legal, regulatory and contractual matters in their operations business and nominations portfolio. The team work in a hybrid manner, and would look for you to be in the Bristol office two days per week.You will be working closely at the heart of the business, providing real estate support (understanding and being able to understand property ownership structures and support on intragroup arrangements affecting this) and providing support to local teams on the applicable HMO licensing regimes appropriate for their local council. You will also be working on matters such as leading on the drafting and negotiating of nomination agreements, providing legal support to operational teams across the UK on a wide range of customer welfare legal issues, supporting teams as the business looks to deliver more value from operating assets. You will also be assisting the data protection team with discrete queries to help ensure continued data protection legislation compliance and monitoring legal and regulatory change affecting the operating business and collaborating with the business to understand the impact of this change and help prepare for and manage this change.
