Public Health Nurse- Maternity Immunisation Team

Are you a registered nurse passionate about public health and maternity care?We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 registered Nurse to join our Maternity Immunisation Team at The Royal London Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust—one of the busiest and most diverse maternity services in the UK.This is an ideal post for a nurse seeking to develop or strengthen their career in public health nursing, particularly in antenatal and newborn care. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of national screening and immunisation programs that promote the health and wellbeing of pregnant women, babies, and their families. You will work closely with the Band 6 Clinical Lead for Maternity Immunisation Team and the Band 7 Lead Midwife for Antenatal and Newborn Screening to:Assist in the delivery of the maternal immunisation program (pertussis, influenza, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccines)Promote awareness and uptake of antenatal and newborn screening servicesProvide evidence-based advice, support, and education to women and their familiesSupport and educate midwifery and maternity staff around immunisation procedures and best practiceHelp improve health equity and access to public health services across our diverse populationYou''ll be a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, committed to improving maternal and neonatal outcomes and addressing health inequalities in East London.Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country and a leading healthcare provider.
