Field Service Technician

Overviewe3 Diagnostics is the leading provider of audiology equipment sales and service solutions in the United States. With over 30 offices nationwide and teams of highly experienced hearing and balance instrument experts, we bring local expertise unmatched in audiological instrumentation. This Field Service Technician role is based in Westford, MA and involves 80% regional travel to customer sites with some overnight travel. The position focuses on equipment solutions, technical repairs, and NASED-certified calibration.
Starting salary between $55K - $60K based on experience, plus commission eligibility after training and competencies are met (typically after 6 or more months on the job). Responsibilities
Calibration, maintenance, equipment repairs and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
Build and maintain customer relationships; provide service and technical support for all e3 equipment offerings, ensuring calibration and preventative maintenance are completed as scheduled according to service agreement.
Collaborate with Office Administrator to ensure scheduling of equipment calibrations as required.
Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment.
Prospect for new service opportunities and generate sales leads for the Regional Sales Manager follow-up.
Travel to customer locations (approximately 80%), work independently with minimal supervision.
Calibrate equipment received at the regional office and schedule return to the customer when completed (company vehicle provided).
All other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-year technical or engineering degree or related experience required in lieu of degree/certificate.
Willingness to follow guidelines in the proficiency and certification handbook.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clear driving record.
Travel
This position requires up to 80% travel, including some overnight trips.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods; able to drive for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending and lifting during daily activities.
Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching as required at customer locations.
Clear background check including criminal history and education verification; must pass drug test.
