One Call Consultants are looking for an experienced Assembly operative with bonding experience for an automotive client of ours based in the Aston B6 area. Duties: Surface Preparation: Cleaning and priming surfaces (glass, metal, composites) using alcohol wipes and specialized primers to ensure maximum adhesion. Adhesive Application: Applying polyurethane or high-modulus adhesive in a precise V-shape or bead, ensuring consistent thickness. Assembly and Installation: Placing windows, glass, or composite components into frames Quality Inspection: Visually inspecting bonded joints for, air bubbles, gaps, or structural weaknesses to ensure high-quality output. Tool Maintenance: Operating sealant guns, cutting tools, drills, and cleaning equipment. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety standards when handling hazardous chemicals (adhesives, solvents) and working with heavy materials.
