Food Production OperativeLocation: Near BuckfastleighSalary: £12.21 rising to £12.60Hours: 40 hours per week Mon Fri 6.00am to 2.30pmDetailsWe are recruiting for a permanent production mixing operative on a temp to perm basis for our award winning manufacturing client near Buckfastleigh.The RoleYou will be working in a team environment to weigh, mix and blend ingredients to manufacture the products to a high standard. Operating machinery, manual handling and lifting whilst adhering to health and safety policies and procedures. You will work across various departments within production giving you plenty of variety to your week.It will be desirable to have a counterbalance forklift licence but not essential.Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh, measure, and manually handle raw ingredientsPrepare and mix batches according to recipes and production specificationsOperate and monitor machinery and equipment safelyEnsure correct sequencing and timing of ingredients to meet quality standardsUse handheld devices and online systems to record batch data, stock usage, and production activityComplete all required production documentation accuratelyMaintain cleanliness of the mix room, tanks, and equipment in line with hygiene and food safety standardsCarry out cleaning, flushing, and sanitising procedures between batchesOrganise materials and prepare mixes to support the following day s productionWork closely with the production and bottling teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimal ..... full job details .....
