Mike Collins Recruitment are currently recruiting for MIG Welders for day and night shifts for our busy manufacturing company based in Telford. Duties: Welding sheet metal and structural steel units. Read from engineering drawings to assemble and welding units. Quality control. Jobs can vary from one offs to 100s of units so must be versatile. Experience: Must have previous MIG welding and fabrication experience is essential. TIG welding would be an advantage but not essential. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Day shift hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm. Overtime available: Mon-Fri- x1.33, Sat- x1.5, Sun x2 Night shift hours are Monday to Thursday 4.30pm - 5am. 48 hour working week, 39 hours paid at standard, 9 hours paid at x1.33. Example: 14.50ph would work out to a salary of 38400. Rate of pay: Days: 14ph+. Nights: 14.50ph+. This is a temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate.
