Steelwork Estimator

We are currently seeking an experienced Steelwork Estimator to join our team, working on a variety of structural steel projects based in Colchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for structural steelwork projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Producing material take-offs and cost breakdowns
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Identifying value engineering opportunities

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the steelwork or structural steel industry
• Strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
