Develop Java applications in a Linux, multi-threaded environment with large-scale, fault-tolerant systems.Follow object-oriented design and development principles; participate in development, testing, support analysis, and release coordination.Work with messaging services such as TIBCO RV/EMS, JMS, AMPS, and Apache Kafka.Understand and address latency considerations and performance implications.Collaborate with teams to deliver robust, scalable software within the Equities domain.Qualifications

Core JavaObject-oriented design and development principlesExperience with Linux, multi-threaded, large-scale, fault-tolerant systemsExperience with Azul ZingExperience with FIX Trading ProtocolExperience with messaging services: TIBCO RV/EMS, JMS, AMPS, Apache KafkaKnowledge of latency optimization and performance considerationsContract: 12 Months Rolling; Rate: £Apply online only p/d via UmbrellaLocation: London – 1/2 days per week in the officeEmployment details
