We are currently recruiting for a German speaking Preconstruction Manager on behalf of a client near Slough. The company specialises in the construction of parking solutions and they are involved in projects in the UK and Germany. They are looking for a Preconstruction Manager to oversee the logistical planning, import and export of materials and timeline forecasting of various projects. Many of the suppliers are based in Germany which is why a fluent German speaker is required. The role is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office near Slough. The salary is around £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience. Candidates should have previous experience in construction in consulting, design management, civil engineering or project management. Responsibilities: Manage the whole contracting cycle.Ensure contractors and suppliers are legitimate and registered.Take care of transportation of materials, including customs clearance.Be the point of contact for all technical questions relating to the preconstruction process.Ensure measurements of and invoicing for materials are in accordance with specifications.
