KS1 Teacher - Ilkley

Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable KS1 Teachers to support a number of our partner schools across Ilkley. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate educators.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Key Stage 1 Teachers who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children in the early stages of their education. Roles may include working within Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or teaching within dedicated SEN provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
• Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
• Supporting pupils'' social, emotional and academic development
• Working collaboratively with support staff, parents and the wider school team

What We''re Looking For:

• A confident and proactive Key Stage 1 Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools
• A genuine passion for inspiring young learners
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application
