This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality employee relations service across a complex, unionised organisation. The role offers hybrid working and will involve occasional travel.As an Employee Relations Manager, you will partner with managers and stakeholders to provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. You will help ensure that people issues are managed fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation, company policies, and best practice.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse employee relations caseload, ensuring cases are handled efficiently, accurately, and within agreed timescales.Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability, and other employee relations issues.Support and advise managers throughout formal processes, including investigations, hearings, and appeals.Attend formal hearings, including Gross Misconduct, Stage 3 Attendance, and Capability cases, ensuring adherence to policy and procedural requirements.Develop strong and effective working relationships with trade union representatives, supporting constructive dialogue and early resolution of workplace issues.Contribute to the development, ..... full job details .....
