Role: Management Accountant Location: London Salary: 45-48kThe Management Accountant plays a critical role in helping businesses make informed financial decisions by providing financial insights, planning, and analysis. They go beyond just reporting numbers-they focus on how financial data can be used to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of financial controls and experience in the hospitality industry.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis; Monthly Reporting: Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring all financial information is accurate, timely, and in accordance with company policies and industry standards and submitted within 6 working days of the month end. Variance Analysis: Prepare and review variance analysis reports, comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts. Provide explanations for variances and assist in recommending corrective actions. Profitability Analysis: Support the analysis of profit margins and identify areas for improvement in terms of cost control, revenue generation, and operational efficiency. Payroll Review and Reporting: Processing of payroll, identification of errors in processing and the review for the Operational companies.
