With a growing and diverse workload spanning both public and private sector clients, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to play a key role in the continued development of their Newcastle team.The successful candidate will take ownership of project delivery, leading civil engineering schemes from initial feasibility and site appraisal through planning, detailed design and into construction. Working within a collaborative, technically strong team, you will be responsible for producing and reviewing design outputs, managing project programmes, and ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.Projects are varied and include residential developments, commercial schemes, mixed-use masterplans and specialist sectors such as extra care, offering a broad and engaging workload. The role will suit someone who enjoys both the technical and coordination aspects of consultancy, with the ability to manage multiple projects while supporting and mentoring more junior engineers.From a technical perspective, the role requires strong experience in drainage and highway design, including SuDS strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and earthworks.
