My client is a national law firm operating in the commercial and consumer recoveries market and forms part of a wider professional services group. The firm delivers end-to-end legal solutions across the credit and collections lifecycle, including litigation, enforcement and insolvency. It advises a broad client base across financial services, lenders and corporates, and has grown its platform through the strategic acquisition of established recoveries teams. The Team The Technical Litigation Department is made up of three specialist teams covering mortgage recoveries, unsecured lending and asset-based lending. The team handles complex and non-standard matters outside the routine debt recovery process, including defended return of goods and mortgage possession proceedings, defended money claims, title disputes, satisfactory quality claims, guarantor claims, third-party applications, conversion and innocent purchaser disputes, breach of contract claims and bankruptcy matters. The Role The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied and technically challenging caseload while playing a key role in team supervision and client relationship management.
