Engineering Manager North Scotland Location: Aberdeen but covering North Scotland Salary: £65K I am currently working with a leading transport organisation that is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee their engineering operations across North Scotland. My client is a well-established operator with a strong presence in the region and a clear focus on service delivery, safety, and innovation This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Service Delivery Director, and offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for the engineering function across multiple depots. PSV/HGV Engineering Manager Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the engineering budget, ensuring effective cost management and reporting directly to the Service Delivery Director. Oversee all engineering operations across North Scotland, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery of services. Utilise data from systems such as Tableau and EAMS to set and track weekly depot performance targets. Ensure daily Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) targets are met within agreed timeframes. Maintain site standards including security and facility upkeep. Provide operational data for budgeting purposes; monitor performance against budget and implement strategies to maximise delivery efficiency. Proactively manage and monitor vehicle breakdowns, ensuring thorough data collection and root cause analysis.
