Head of Finance and Resources – Andover MindJoin to apply for the Head of Finance and Resources role at Guardian Jobs on behalf of Andover Mind, a charity that supports people with mental ill health in Andover, Basingstoke and Aldershot and the wider community. The role leads the financial strategy, operations and finance-related governance to ensure financial sustainability and effective stewardship of resources. This is a senior leadership role that partners with the Treasurer, CEO and Senior Leadership Team and is part of the Senior Management Team contributing to top-level strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, controls, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Manage business services including Human Resources, ICT and systems optimisation, premises, contracts, supplier management and procurement.

Provide leadership and management for the finance and related functions.

Ensure governance and compliance relevant to charity finances and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and experience

Financially qualified or significant relevant experience (QBE).

Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the charity sector.

Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including HR functions.

Expertise in financial strategy, controls, budgeting, and forecasting.

Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex financial data.

Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Knowledge of charity-specific financial regulations is a plus.
