Senior IT Engineer Location: London/Surrey - client-facing with travel to customer sitesSalary: £45,000-£50,000Environment: Managed IT Services/MSP The Role We''re looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join a growing Managed IT Services provider supporting a range of SME clients across London and Surrey. This is a varied, hands-on position combining escalated technical support, project delivery, migrations and direct client management. You''ll take ownership of technical issues and projects while proactively identifying ways technology can improve clients'' businesses. This isn''t purely a service desk role. You''ll be expected to build strong relationships with clients, visit customer sites and confidently explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide senior-level technical support and manage escalated tickets through to resolution. Support and administer Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace environments. Deliver Microsoft 365, cloud and infrastructure migrations. Lead and contribute to client IT projects from planning through to implementation. Troubleshoot Windows desktop and server environments. Diagnose networking issues across TCP/IP, private IP addressing, DNS, DHCP and VPNs. Support and configure firewalls, networking equipment and connectivity.
