Job Role: Quality ManagerLocation: TamworthShift: Mon - FriSalary: c£50k (DOE)Responsibilities

To ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental systems across the business. The Quality Manager will drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying deviations or non-conformances and implementing corrective actions promptly.Review and enhance the existing quality system to align with business needs, integrating quality, health, safety, and environmental management.Lead the business through accreditations such as: ISO 9001:2015/ ISO 14001 /OHSAS 18001 / SO 45001/ AS9100:DEnsure employee and subcontractor awareness and adherence to the quality system at all times.Conduct regular internal audits and oversee the implementation of corrective actions for any non-conformances.Manage and oversee Inspection Departments, ensuring operational efficiency and professional standards.Understand gear and spline manufacturing techniques; accurately measure and report critical features.Develop job-specific quality plans and liaise with customers as necessary.Approve and audit suppliers in accordance with the quality policy.Validate that the latest controlled drawings are available and correctly issued.Support operators with in-process component verifications.Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in gear and spline production.Prior experience with ISO and other quality standards accreditations.Familiarity with auditing procedures and managing quality systems.Technical knowledge of inspection equipment, measurement tools, and calibration processes.Demonstrates strong understanding and application of quality and safety regulations.Proactive in identifying improvements and driving accountability across the organization.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring compliance and high-quality outcomes.Acts with integrity, responsibility, and professionalism at all times.Apply
