Key responsibilities of the Design and Project Engineer - Produce detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for pipework, pump systems, and associated equipment. Work collaboratively with senior engineers and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Manage projects from initial enquiry through design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met. Prepare technical documentation, including calculations, reports, and project plans. Support cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement of materials and equipment. Conduct site visits to oversee installation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with design intent. Ensure all work meets relevant industry standards, quality expectations, and health and safety requirements. Requirements of the Design and Project Engineer - Proven experience in a design/project engineering role within fluid handling, water, or process industries.
