Senior Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure – Location: Manchester or Leeds, UK (Hybrid Working). 12 months contract minimum, 5 days weekly, Hybrid.About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you''ll play a key part in the planning, design, and delivery of complex water sector projects. You''ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and help create resilient water systems that benefit communities and the environment.Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment projectsConduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and data analysisProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersCollaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomesSupport project management activities, including planning, budgeting, and reportingDrive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processesQualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field3-6 years'' experience in the water sector, particularly in treatment worksStrong technical skills in civil design and analysisFamiliarity with UK water industry standards and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsProactive, collaborative, and accountable approachDesirable Attributes
