An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Sous Chef to join a fast-paced, fresh-food kitchen team in the heart of Edinburgh. This is a fantastic role for someone who thrives under pressure, loves seasonal Scottish produce, and is ready to help lead a high-performing kitchen.



The position will initially be based at one location, with potential for internal movement across other sites once settled, looking after a number of venues. This is a business that values development, stability, and rewarding great work.

What You''ll Do:




  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations


  • Lead and inspire the brigade during busy services


  • Step up in the Head Chef''s absence


  • Maintain consistently high standards across lunch and dinner services (200+ covers daily)


  • Ensure the delivery of fresh, seasonal, beautifully cooked dishes


  • Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials

What We''re Looking For:




  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous or strong Sous Chef in a high-volume, fresh food environment


  • A calm, organised leader who thrives under pressure


  • Confidence in running the pass and managing a kitchen team


  • Passion for Scottish and seasonal ingredients


  • Someone who values teamwork, training, and professional growth
