Westwood Recruitment-are currently working with a leading company to recruit an experienced-Production-Engineer-in Milton Keynes. As a Production-Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and maintenance of high-speed printing, inserting and ancillary production equipment used to deliver critical documents for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and optimise production machinery in line with defined operating standards.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within agreed timescales and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Undertake hands-on analysis and structured problem solving to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, reliability and equipment performance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production and engineering targets.
• Ensure all engineering activities are carried out with appropriate consideration for confidentiality, data security and workplace safety.

Experience & Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification, minimum-NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or HNC equivalent
• Demonstrable experience in-multi-skilled maintenance engineering
• Previous experience working within a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
• 5+ years experience-in Engineering, particularly within FMCG, pharmaceuticals or other high-speed manufacturing environments
• Electrical fault-finding experience-
• Knowledge of-COSHH, Health & Safety and environmental procedures
• Experience working within a highly regulated production environment
