Our client is seeking a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical background to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting engineering operations onsite, working closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure machinery efficiency and safety. Responsibilities:Diagnose and fault-find electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues on our manufacturing equipmentSupport and assist the Engineering Manager and Director in daily operations and project initiativesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to minimise downtimeHands-on support when needed, including mechanical repairs and adjustmentsMaintain safety standards and ensure equipment reliability through regular inspectionsAssist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgradesDocument maintenance activities and update maintenance logs accuratelyManage critical spares, mechanical, electrical and hydraulicManage tooling spares and maintenanceRaise Purchase orders for key works and sparesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performanceProvide technical guidance and support to production teams during troubleshootingConduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issuesSkills Required:Electrical trained with a solid understanding of PLCs, automation systems, and control wiringExperienced in fault-finding on industrial machinery, with a good understanding of mechanical systemsHands-on approach with a willingness to support ..... full job details .....
