They are currently looking for a skilled experienced Alternatives Fund Accountant to join an established investment management environment on a 6-9 month contract. The role will focus on alternative assets, including private equity and private credit/debt, with a strong emphasis on operational fund accounting and oversight.Job Responsibilities/Objectives The successful candidate will have proven experience working within alternative investments, ideally with private credit experience, and will be comfortable supervising and reviewing the work of others.Manage and oversee day-to-day fund accounting operations across alternative investment funds.Work across asset classes including private equity, private credit and debt.Review and oversee fund accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Supervise and support junior members of the fund accounting team.Review NAVs, financial information, reconciliations and investor-related accounting outputs.Liaise with internal teams, administrators and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues.Identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure appropriate controls are maintained.Support the wider ..... full job details .....
