Class 2 Driver - Brecon or Abergavenny, UK

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently to collect waste water across designated routes in Brecon, Abergavenny and surrounding areas and return to treatment works
• Ensure timely collection and disposal of waste, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness and report any defects or issues.
• Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and logs, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour when representing the company to clients and the public.

Required Skills andamp; Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience operating Class 2 tanker vehicles is preferred.
• Good knowledge of South Wales road networks, especially in Brecon and Abergavenny areas.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all legal and company standards.
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks
