SEND Academic Tutor/Mentor (Secondary) Type: temp-to-perm contract (term time only) Details: Full-time, 30 hours (9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday) Location Thrapston, Northamptonshire Dates: 20/04/2026 - 22/07/2026 (initially) Pay: £20 - £25 per hour Our client is an Alternative Education Provision service based in Thrapston, currently serving primary-aged learners. The parent education group support primary, secondary and post-16 aged learners across their multiple sites with their main headquarters based in Weston Super Mare. The learners they support all have an EHCPs relating mainly to Autism, SEMH and trauma.They operate a revolving-door offering whereby students stay at the provision for up to 18 weeks, either on a full-time or part-time basis before returning to mainstream education or attending a special school. Elmtree Learning Partnership have successfully supported learners at their other sites since 2022 (url removed). We are recruiting additional staff for the Willow Tree Learning site in Thrapston that currently support primary-aged learners. They support between x5 - x10 learners onsite and will also be starting to support secondary aged learners at a new local site, anticipated after Easter 2026.
