We re working with a growing Design and Build fit-out contractor based in Hertfordshire, seeking an Assistant Estimator to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work directly alongside the company director. About the Role: You ll support the estimating function on fit-out projects ranging from £250k to £3.5m. Duties will include: Taking off drawings and preparing detailed quantities. Completing pricing documents accurately and efficiently. Using pre-agreed framework costs for pricing. Sending out enquiries to the supply chain and chasing returns. Requirements: Previous experience in taking off from drawings is essential. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
