With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Director to join our growing UK team. This is a hybrid hunter/farmer role for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in account management, revenue growth, and new business acquisition within the technology or digital services sector. This role will be primarily focused on supporting accounts and pursuits across our Tech Platforms – ISV and SaaS Portfolio (B2B and B2C).You will lead strategic client engagements while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. You’ll be responsible for building and converting a high-quality pipeline, owning the end-to-end sales process, and contributing to Ciklum’s continued growth in the UK market.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategies for new client acquisition to fuel revenue growthBuild and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makersIdentify opportunities aligned with Ciklum’s solutions and services, driving client interest and engagementOwn the sales cycle from initial outreach through to contract signature, ensuring a smooth transition into deliveryExpand and grow revenue within existing strategic accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesMaintain and refine a robust target account list, leveraging market insights and researchCollaborate closely with vertical sales leads and capability teams to support complex sales pursuitsEnsure accurate and timely CRM updates, with full adherence to Ciklum’s sales processCraft compelling, tailored value propositions and sales collateral to support business development effortsRepresent Ciklum at industry events, conferences, and webinars to raise brand awareness and generate leadsRequirements7+ years’ experience in a client-facing sales, account management, or business development role in consulting, technology services, or digital transformationProven success in driving revenue growth across new and existing clientsStrong experience in solution based selling and the ability to position and sell complex digital solutions to C-level executivesCommercially savvy with experience managing account-level PandLs, contracts, and commercial negotiationsAdept at navigating long, consultative sales cycles and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholdersEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunitiesExperience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environmentWhat''s in it for youBe part of a creative and collaborative team shaping the future of digital engineering.High earning potential with performance-driven rewards.Join a fast-growing, PE-backed company with a differentiated service offering.Access to professional development, training, and knowledge-sharing opportunities.Work with cutting-edge technologies and top-tier clients across industries.Explore, empower, engineer with Ciklum!Experiences of tomorrow.
