This role involves vehicle allocation, scheduling, testing, monitoring, and disposal. The successful candidate will also manage the booking system and ensure robust systems are in place to support the Fleet Operation.Day-to-day of the role:Manage customers'' short-term hire requirements, including bookings, allocating appropriate vehicles, and maintaining hire records.Oversee the vehicle and plant service schedule, ensuring availability for maintenance.Manage the approved supplier list for spot hire and contract hire of vehicles.Liaise, negotiate, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, subcontractors, and the public, maintaining effective communication and information links.Operate the daily functions of the workshop through time recording and data allocation systems.Input, check, and maintain various electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring information accuracy and confidentiality.Handle cash and debit/credit card payments, keeping accurate and detailed records as per internal audit procedures.Manage documentation related to supplier, customer, and internal non-conformances.Provide accurate information for the production of invoices for warranty claims.Conduct routine checks of driving licenses, MOTs, ..... full job details .....
