They are a full-service workplace interior specialist who caters to a diverse range of UK clients in retail, education, light industrial, life sciences and commercial sectors.The company is open to considering either a motivated Contracts Manager who is ready to take the step up, an existing Head of Construction, or a Director level individual who can hit the ground running.The Opportunity

The business is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Construction to lead the delivery phase of its projects, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction from concept to completion. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will oversee all construction and fit-out operations, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and uphold the company\''s reputation for excellence in workplace delivery.Key Responsibilities

Lead all construction and fit-out activities, from mobilisation to handoverOversee Contract Managers, site teams, and subcontractors to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsManage risk assessments, health and safety compliance, and regulatory approvalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.Represent the organisation at a senior level in client and subcontractor meetingsSupport the capture and bidding of new construction opportunitiesMaintain a proactive approach to safety, quality, and operational riskProvide strategic input as part of the senior leadership teamCandidate Profile

Proven track record in senior construction leadership, ideally within commercial interiors, office fit-out, or high-end refurbishmentStrong understanding of design and build project lifecycles, from feasibility to final deliveryExceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teamsExcellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and client-facing experienceIn-depth knowledge of building regulations, HandS legislation, and quality standardsA proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional spacesOn Offer
