This is a home-based role with travel to client and sites around London in particular Kent, Essex and East Anglia.

As a Health and Safety Consultant in Water and leisure you will:

• Deliver water and leisure consultancy to members of the public, potential customers, and clients, including SuDS/water safety reviews and desktop reviews. 
• To manage enquiries and requests that come into the department and ensure responses are given within agreed SLA timeframes.
• To lead on advice and enquiries received from the public and developers regarding water and leisure consultancy.
• Engage with RoSPA''s policy teams for a joined-up approach to water and leisure safety.
• Responsible for quality checking water and leisure consultancy work from colleagues and associate consultants, conducting quality checks for commercial and project proposals and reports.
• Auditing leisure centers and swimming pools for safety management systems
• Ensure that health, safety and environmental risks are adequately assessed and controlled in respect of your own job role and those of reporting staff.

• Be responsible for data protection compliance

• Hold a NEBOSH Certification or equivalent
• Have an interest in Water and leisure safety, or experience in this field
• Happy to travel to sites in London in particular Kent, Essex and East Anglia
• Sports, leisure, or lifeguarding backgrounds
• Experience with swimming safety, canals, rivers, or search and rescue
