Air Freight ForwarderDerbyWe are currently recruiting an experienced Air Freight Forwarder to join a large, well-established logistics company based in Derby. This is a permanent night shift role within a growing operation offering excellent long-term career prospects.Working Hours:Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 8:00amSalary and Benefits:Salary up to 37,000 (dependent on experience)25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysModern, spacious office environmentExcellent opportunities for career progression within a global organisationKey Responsibilities:Managing end-to-end air freight operations from booking through to final deliveryCreating, processing and amending Air Waybills (AWB)Handling AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments and time-critical consignmentsProcessing Dangerous Goods (DG) in line with IATA regulationsLiaising with airlines, handling agents, customers and overseas officesMonitoring shipments and providing proactive updates to customersPreparing export and import documentationEnsuring compliance with customs, airline and company proceduresResolving operational issues quickly and efficiently during the night shiftMaintaining accurate records within freight forwarding systemsRequirements:Proven experience in air freight forwardingStrong knowledge of AWB processesDangerous Goods experience is essentialAOG experience is preferredAbility to work independently on night shiftsStrong organisational and communication skillsWR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all ..... full job details .....
