Shuttering / Formwork Carpenter

Red Sky Personnel are seeking experienced Shuttering / Formwork Carpenters to join a major infrastructure project at Gatwick Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme with a leading UK construction company renowned for delivering complex civil engineering and structural works to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up shutters for trial pours and permanent works.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork using timber, plywood, or steel.

• Ensuring formwork is level, aligned, and secure before concrete pours.

• Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project timelines.

Requirements:

• Valid Blue CSCS Card (Formwork or Shuttering Carpentry).

• Proven track record in similar large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

• Eligible for a DBS check.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Able to obtain a Temporary Airside Pass clearance for Gatwick.
