This position will play a supporting role in developing a positive and proactive health and safety culture across the organisation.Responsibilities for the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:Implementing health, safety and environment policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with HSE legislationReviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements and answering any health, safety and environment related queriesUndertaking audits and inspections across the institution, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findingsProviding health and safety support across the Institution, particularly within the research departmentsThe successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will haveProven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally from within scientific research, universities, or similar environmentNEBOSH Certificate or ..... full job details .....
