The Role

Our client is seeking aandnbsp;Design CAD Engineerandnbsp;with a civil engineering background to join their integrated design team. The successful candidate will support projects across theandnbsp;Yorkshire Water framework, from outline design through toandnbsp;detailed design, construction, and commissioning.

This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, using the latestandnbsp;CAD andamp; BIM technology, while developing professionally within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

££ Producingandnbsp;2D andamp; 3D CAD drawingsandnbsp;for civil and drainage design

££ Working withandnbsp;Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM360andnbsp;andandnbsp;Civils 3D

££ Preparing design solutions, drawings, reports, calculations andamp; estimates

££ Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients

££ Supporting surveys, data evaluation andamp; GPS surveying (advantage)

££ Ensuring compliance withandnbsp;Health andamp; Safety, CDM regs, ISO 9001

££ Staying updated with latest industry technologies andamp; attending expos

andnbsp;

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

£ Qualification as aandnbsp;CAD Engineerandnbsp;with civil design experience

£ Strong knowledge ofandnbsp;drainage design andamp; water industry standardsandnbsp;(WIMES, CIWEM, Sewer Sector Guidance)

£ Experience withandnbsp;BIM integration andamp; hydraulic design principles

£ Excellentandnbsp;communication, teamwork andamp; problem-solving skills

£ A proactive mindset with willingness to learn andamp; develop

£andnbsp;Full UK driving licenceandnbsp;+ own transport
