Your new company Hays Engineering are delighted to be supporting a leading advanced manufacturing organisation in the search for a Manufacturing Engineer (Mechatronics). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly innovative engineering environment, supporting the introduction and manufacture of technically complex electro-mechanical products used in a regulated, high-precision industry.This role offers the chance to take ownership of a product range from development through to production, acting as the technical expert throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and ensuring successful transition into volume manufacture.Your new role As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with Manufacturing, RandD, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support the development and launch of sophisticated electro-mechanical systems. You will play a key role in process development, risk mitigation, continuous improvement and technical problem-solving while driving projects through to successful completion.Key responsibilities will include:Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from concept through to production handover.Supporting manufacturing operations with process development and technical problem resolution.Translating product requirements into manufacturing specifications and processes.Building, testing and evaluating prototypes and pre-production assemblies.Driving Design for Manufacture (DFM/DfX) activities alongside product development ..... full job details .....
