This is an excellent opportunity for an Interim Procurement Manager, within the defence sector, to get involved in managing procurement activities to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Based in The City of London, this temporary position requires expertise within procurement in the defence sector and previous NEC Contracts experience.Client DetailsOur client is a large organisation who are based in The City Of London and so weekly travel to London will be required. They are known for their structured approach to projects and their commitment to excellence in every aspect of their operations.DescriptionAs Interim Procurement Manager, duties will include, however, not be limited to:Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the defence sector.Identify and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective and timely procurement solutions.Ensure compliance with procurement NEC contracts and regulations specific to the defence sector.Manage supplier relationships.Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project goals.Prepare and review contracts to ensure favourable terms and risk mitigation.
